Dragon Ball Super (Japanese: ドラゴンボール超 ( スーパー ), Hepburn: Doragon Bōru Sūpā, sometimes abbreviated as DBS) is a Japanese manga collection composed by Akira Toriyama and highlighted by Toyotarou. A sequel to Toriyama s original Dragon Ball manga, it follows the journeys of Goku and also buddies throughout the ten-year timeskip after the defeat of Majin Buu. It began serialization in Shueisha s shōnen manga magazine V Enter June 2015. The manga is published in English by Viz Media and also simulpublished by Shueisha on their Manga Plus platform.
A 131-episode anime television series adaptation generated by Toei Animation broadcast in Japan from April 2015 to March 2018. A follow up movie, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, was released in December 2018 and ended up being the highest-grossing anime movie of the franchise. A second film, Super Hero, will launch in 2022 as well as is currently in growth.
The new chapter in the sleeve of Dragon Ball Super continues to talk about. This particular episode had several flashbacks that revealed us a few additional details about the past of Goku, Bardock, Granolah and Up Radditz. One of these particular sequences was quite moving, since it showed a little more of the relationship Between Goku and her mother, GINE.
Specifically, we can see how while Bardock was going to fight, Gine was in charge of caring for Goku. Similar to itself Goku, Bardock was also someone very indifferent with the children of him, but that meant that he would not like them. It was just not very good showing it.
Similarly, we can see that Bardock was not very excited during the birth of Goku, while Gine received it with much more affection.
Although in the movie of Dragon Ball Super: BROLY we were able to know in a better detail the relationship they had Gine and Bardock, just that this new chapter in the manga really gave us a general look at parents of Goku.
Editor s note: Even though the past of goku was already explored earlier both in the anime and in the manga, it is always interesting to know new things about it. I think it would be great to have a series dedicated to what life was on the planet vegeta before it was destroyed.
